Alongside of I-69 at the Hammerberg Road exit in Flint, Michigan is a monument of sorts. A large, 13’x10’ slab of concrete that has a long history and tradition in our community of being used as a billboard of sorts for the locals to paint.
Look it up online if you get a chance. You will be amazed at some of the beautiful artwork as well as some tragic memorials. But this is ours to share. Here is what I have waited 54 years to paint on this iconic place in my hometown:
